Job Description
The Contingent Plan is actively recruiting a patient financial services representative for a healthcare client in the San Antonio area. This is a temporary assignment that is anticipated to last about 3 months. The role is M-F with 8 hour days. The position is onsite and no candidates outside of the San Antonio area will be considered at this time.

The Contingent Plan is actively recruiting a patient financial services representative for a healthcare client in the San Antonio area. This is a temporary assignment that is anticipated to last about 3 months. The role is M-F with 8 hour days. The position is onsite and no candidates outside of the San Antonio area will be considered at this time.
- Provide back up for business office functions, providing work coverage for the various operational work units in the healthcare organization.
- Support billing, collections, reimbursement validation, cash posting, mail handling, scanning, sorting, assembly, copying, faxing, and data entry functions.
- Provides training to Associates on the organization's processes as required by the Manager to support new and existing Associates.
- Provides back up coverage and support for various positions within the organization as assigned
- Provides coaching and mentoring for associates on transactional processes assigned by the manager
- 2 years of experience with insurance billing, collections, payment, and reimbursement verification
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Prior healthcare/hospital experience preferred.
- US citizen or current work authorization
- Ability to complete any required background checks or other screening.
