Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients. This is a hands-on role that requires experience in pet grooming and a deep love for animals. Duties: - Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trims, and ear cleaning for dogs and cats - Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, and recommend appropriate grooming techniques - Handle pets with care and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the grooming results - Educate pet owners on proper grooming techniques and recommend products for at-home care Experience: - Previous experience as a Pet Groomer or similar role is required - Knowledge of different dog breeds and their specific grooming requirements - Familiarity with various grooming tools and equipment - Strong understanding of animal behavior and handling techniques - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners Skills: - Dog training experience is a plus - Proficient in pet grooming techniques including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling - Knowledgeable in pet care practices including ear cleaning, nail trimming, and dental hygiene - Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently - Experience working in a veterinary clinic or as a veterinary assistant is beneficial - Familiarity with kennel operations is an asset - Capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) - Equine grooming experience is a bonus If you are passionate about animals, have excellent grooming skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
