A Skilled Trades Tech I – Facilities Maintenancejob is available with the City of Fort Worth (Public Events/Will Rogers Memorial Center). The Public Events Department operates the Fort Worth Convention Center (FWCC), the Will Rogers Memorial Center (WRMC), and the Office of Outdoor Events. The departments mission is through entrepreneurial management of “Best in Class” venues, and in collaboration with our community partners, our customer-focused team provides clients and guests with memorable Fort Worth hospitality that contributes to prosperity in our community
The current available position is assigned to the Will Rogers Memorial Center. However, Public Events Department employees are subject to reassignment based on work load and/or the needs of the City or the Department. This reassignment may involve relocation to the Fort Worth Convention Center or another City facility.
The Skilled Trades Technician l - Facilities Maintenance plays an important role in making sure that all equipment and material is maintained in the building so that events can run smoothly.
