As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented Controller with expertise in QuickBooks Online and a strong background in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), reconciliation, and financial statement preparation to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- QuickBooks Online Management:
- Utilize QuickBooks Online to maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records.
- Oversee the implementation and customization of QuickBooks Online to suit the specific needs of the organization.
- Provide training and support to team members on the effective use of QuickBooks Online.
- Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Management:
- Manage the AR and AP processes, including invoicing, billing, collections, and vendor payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and vendor bills.
- Monitor AR aging and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Reconciliation:
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between financial records and bank statements.
- Reconcile other accounts such as credit cards, loans, and intercompany transactions.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate financial reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Controller or similar role, with a focus on QuickBooks Online.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel/Sheets skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 per week
