Sr. Manager, Home Infusion Nursing (Accredo)

In this role you will be responsible for the ongoing nursing care and nursing operating plan within a defined region. This includes education and competency of staff, assessment and coordination of care for patients at the initiation of therapy and throughout the course of treatment.  You will work collaboratively with all other Therapeutic Resource Groups and care team members. You will contract, coordinate and educate contracted nursing agencies for Accredo Pharmacy patients. You’ll also be accountable for ensuring that the nursing team is in compliance with company nursing care standards and those established by federal, state, local regulatory agencies and accreditation organizations as identified by the organization, as well as supporting the organization's marketing and sales strategic initiatives. This position aligns with pharmacy operations and physician sales in the region to achieve overall company objectives.

What You’ll Need:

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the state of residence
• MSN degree, plus 2 years of relevant RN experience; or
• BSN degree, plus 5 years of relevant RN experience; or
• ASN degree, plus 8 years of relevant RN experience; or
• Nursing Diploma, plus 11 years of relevant RN experience
• Master’s Degree & CRNI or other nursing certification preferred

• 5 years of relevant clinical experience, including 3-5 years of leadership experience
• 1-3 years of experience as a home IV infusion therapy RN
• Strong IV insertion experience
• Valid driver’s license in state of residence
• Proficiency with MS Office Applications and Apple technology
• Strong organization and problem-solving, project management, team building and oral and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze information and target trends, maintain high-level of confidentiality, provide outstanding customer service, multi-task and meet deadlines
• Proven individual and team leadership ability, able to motivate employees, drive engagement, build effective teams
• Knowledge of pharma audit and contract review processes (preferred)
• Ability to understand and train others on legal and regulatory issues
• Ability to develop/maintain a broad cross-section of networks
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• A home internet connection with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload, obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with Quality Accreditation, Clinical Operations, Sales Management and Nurse Managers to ensure optimal patient care is consistently delivered across all therapies to achieve a high level of patient care as evidenced by achievement of a 95% or greater customer satisfaction score for nursing services and patient retention
• Recruit, hire and orient nursing staff; develop nursing management staff and clinical nursing staff; assess nursing work performed; performance reviews, and supervisory visits of nursing staff. Support training programs for field staff and agency staff to assure competence in patient care.
• Work with Resource Management and Nursing Leadership to define required staffing ratios that support clinical excellence and resource maximization. Interface with scheduling staff to establish and assure optimal nursing resources are utilized in the region. Assist with the development of nursing leadership pipeline. Actively participate in nurse recruitment.
• Actively work with managed care regional resources to optimize contract “pull through” as related to nursing resource availability and promotion of nursing programs.
• Work with individual nurse managers and supervisors to ensure individualized nurse leader target achievement to meet budgetary goals for market encompassing utilization, agency mix and other identified metrics.
• Effectively utilize tools and strategies to manage a virtual team.
