The Child and Family Guidance Center is currently seeking a full time Functional Family Therapy Program Clinician.

The Functional Family Therapy Program Clinician for providing intensive in-home therapeutic services to identified adolescents and their families that are at risk who have been referred by DCF, Probation, Schools and community sources.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following Essential Functions:

• Provide in-home therapeutic and case management services to youth aged 11-17 and their families. 
• Be available to support clients in crisis 24/7
• Ensure client records are up to date and in accordance with CFGC policy and procedure.
• Develop written treatment plan that has been reviewed with the family.
• Support the family in court, DCF and school meetings as needed.
• Participate in weekly consultation, attend all team meetings, trainings and meetings as necessary
• Engage and align with youth and their families in a culturally appropriate and respectful manner.
• Provide consultation to other community agencies, schools, courts, and individuals as deemed appropriate.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of effective working relationships with other community agencies, schools and individuals through the program of clinical services and other activities.
• Able to work collaboratively with staff and other agencies.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others while meeting deadlines

Qualifications:

• The position requires a licensed Master’s level behavioral health professional 
• At least 1 years of providing clinical and/or substance abuse services to children and families as well as in home services.
• Bi-lingual Spanish is preferred, and bi-lingual clinicians will receive a sign-on bonus.
• Knowledge of the social and emotional functioning and development of young children
• Cultural sensitivity, awareness and knowledge required as well as a strong familiarity of community resources preferred.
•  Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 virus, unless eligible for a medical or religious exemption.
