The Chickasaw Nation is Hiring a Medical Support Technician Coordinator Near Ada, OK

We are currently looking for a Full Time Medical Support Technician Coordinator to join our Health Revenue Registration and Admissions Section team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center.
Summary:
This position is located and obtained within the Chickasaw Nation Department of Health. The Coordinator will assist with support of management, providing aid for department projects, deadline expectations, and day to day functions regarding the Medical Support Technicians (MST's) team, which includes satellite clinics.
Responsibilities:
* Assists with day-to-day operations of the division or facility
* Assists with the composition and preparation of routine correspondence, drafts, and narratives
* Coordinates the interview/hiring process
* Monitors and approves IDP classes for assigned area
* Coordinates vendors, manufacturers and team regarding maintenance, repairs, updates and technology changes
* Coordinates the work of external consultants for the area assigned
* Actively participates in the planning and execution of facility events
* Submits work orders to the maintenance department
* Coordinates interdepartmental and intradepartmental communications
* Sends out text reminders for each holiday that the department is closed
* Sets up third party access for each employee and assist with third party resource training when needed
* Coordinates special projects as assigned
* Assists management in facilitating or conducting training employees and vendors on policies, procedures and guidelines
- Trains individuals or groups
- Develops or revises training materials and processes
- Assists with implementing new procedures, processes and or guidelines
* Flexibility in cross-training and providing coverage for clinic to clinic
* Serves as point of contact
* Assists with scanning QA as needed
* May assist in the completion of UAF's for staff
* Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
- Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made

- May provide break coverage for others as assigned
- May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit
* Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
