Position Summary: The production grinder/marinator positions are vital roles in our company, responsible for inspecting, processing, grinding, and seasoning of all cuts of meat products to ensure quality and consistency. This person will oversee the cleaning, sanitation, proper assemble as well as the shutdown of the meat grinding area and cooler. These positions play a critical role in maintaining high standard of product quality and adhering to food safety regulations.
What you’ll do:
  • Inspect and grind meat products according to established quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain meat processing machinery such as grinder, bowl chopper etc.
  • Ensure proper setup, operate, and assist with troubleshooting processing equipment.
  • Follow food safety sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment.
  • Assist in packaging and labeling of food products, ensuring weights, quantities, and labeling information.
  • Collaborate with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedure, including safety guidelines and quality control measures.
About you:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Attention to detail and ability to operate the grinding machinery safely.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Basic math skills to accurately measure and calculate product quantities.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and work according to established processes.
  • Good communication skills to report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
  • Previous experience in a food production or meat grinding role is a plus.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
