Position Summary: The Receiver is responsible for verifying all inbound shipments, offloading product from trucks, counting product received, checking quality of product, re-palletizing product if necessary and positioning product in the coolers according to date code and rack location.
What you’ll do:
Receives and checks incoming product with bill of lading;
Properly identifies product received and ensures quality of product;
Offloads trucks with fork-lift or pallet jack and positions product in cooler according to date codes and rack position;
Accurate recording of data and completion of required daily paperwork;
Maintains a clean and organized work area reporting unsafe conditions;
Responsible for adhering to food security, food safety regulations and policies, HACCP & CGMPs)
Other duties as assigned or necessary
About you:
HS diploma or equivalent;
Certified to operate a pallet jack or forklift;
Able to lift at a minimum of 50 lbs consistently;
Knowledge of inventory control;
Basic math skills;
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions;
Ability to communicate with others;
Dependable work attendance and safe work habits;
Effectively complete job functions with minimum supervision;
Work in cold temperatures ranging from -0 to 45 degrees
