Responsibilities

· Interview patients and document basic medical history.

· Answer phones and schedule appointments.

· Update and file medical records and insurance reports.

· Arrange laboratory services.

· Check with patients and type up patient’s chants.

· Take and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.

· Assist healthcare providers with examinations and procedures.

· Handle receivable copays and balance due.

· Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.

· Ensure a clean and organized work environment.

· Give allergy shots.

· Mix allergy serums.

· Assisting MD/NP with allergy testing

· Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

· Organizational and planning

Required Experience:

· Minimum of 2 years as a medical assistant in an allergy clinic.

· Accurately take and record vital signs.

· Certified MA preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
