The Center for Women's Health is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist (FT) Near Newport, VA

A busy medical office seeks experienced, enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to provide customer service and administrative support.
Position Overview:
  • This is a full-time position that consists of phone reception, patient check-in and check-out, as well as appointment setting.
  • Must be familiar with medical terminology and insurance.
  • Must have the ability to use initiative to solve problems to the patients' satisfaction.
  • Absolutely must be a team player with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Experience is preferred.
  • Strong front desk abilities, with ability to multi-task.
Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills.
  • Be detail-oriented.
  • Efficient at multi-tasking.
  • Have the ability to meet with patients in a professional and friendly manner. 
  • Must have good computer skills.
  • Athena's EMR experiences are a plus.
Primary duties include: 
  • Speaking with patients on the phone.
  • Scheduling patient exams, and appointments.
  • Switch board experience a plus, must answer a multi line phone system. 
  • Greeting patients and other business associates, and providing a variety of front desk administrative duties as needed. 
  • This position will be crossed trained to perform check in and check out. 
Job Details:
  • Salary will depend on experience.
  • Job Type: Full-time.
  • Pay: $30,000 - $35,000 annually.
