The Center for Discovery is Hiring a Rehabilitation Technician Near Harris, NY
maintenance and minor fabrications of adaptive equipment within the Assistive Technology
department. A basic knowledge of durable medical equipment (wheelchairs, hospital beds, hoyer
lifts, etc.) is helpful. Should have basic experience working with tools (woodworking, small
electronics) the ability to work creatively, to solve problems and be an independent worker.
High School Diploma or GED.
Prior experience with assistive technology and knowledge of disabilities preferred
Demonstrate a respectful and cooperative demeanor.
Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.
Flexibility with on call responsibilities including evening and weekend shifts.
