This position receives a differential added to the base hourly rate, with the differential the pay rate for this position is $17.50 per hour to $18.25.

Some Job Responsibilities:

• Act as liaison between day habilitation services and other agency services, OPWDD, and the community at large.
• Participate in the screening process of all individuals being considered for the day habilitation services.
• Attend all relevant meeting and seminars as deemed appropriate by program director.
• Oversee day to day operation of day habilitation services in the assigned program.
• Oversee development of community-based activities including, but not limited to volunteer activities in line with each individual’s desires and goals.
• Assist in hiring, firing, and evaluation of direct support staff.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in related Human Services Field
• Valid NYS Driver’s License.
• Must be able to sit, stand, lift 50 lbs.
• Good written and/or verbal communication skills.
• Three years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
