Maintenance Director

We are seeking to fill the position of Director of Maintenance. 

Director of Maintenance Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience and knowledge in the function of compressors, generators, fire alarm and sprinkler systems, etc. as well as various, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Assisted Living maintenance experienced is preferred.

Director of Maintenance Job Summary:

• Maintain the building, equipment and general operations of the facility.
• Maintain security for residents, staff, visitors and Sisters.
• Perform snow removal from all entries and exits and resident's vehicles.
• Assist with all annual safety inspections and drills - fire, element, disaster, etc.
• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing of the maintenance department.
• Manage all Security and Housekeeping personnel - hiring, discipline, schedule, performance evaluations.
• Assist with Apartment turnovers.
• Respond to all building emergencies.
• Negotiate all outside service contracts annually.
• Repair of all furniture, fixtures, minor plumbing and other standard systems.
• Inspect the facility on a regular basis to ensure that the grounds, facility and equipment are maintained.
• Establish an effective preventive maintenance program.
• Establish a priority system on unscheduled maintenance.
