Director of Fixed Assets and Treasury

The Carmelite System is a multi-state not-for-profit senior living organization sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters of the Aged & Infirm. 

We are seeking to hire a Director of Fixed Assets and Treasury.

  • This corporate level position is fully remote. Team members work in Eastern and Central Standard Time.
  • $110K to $120K per year based on skills and experience.

Director of Fixed Assets and Treasury Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (10 years) in fixed assets management, treasury operations, and financial leadership roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, such as ERP systems (preferably Acumatica), treasury management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in fixed assets and treasury management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.

Director of Fixed Assets and Treasury Job Summary:

  • Oversee the accounting and reporting of fixed assets in ERP Acumatica, including placing into service, depreciation, impairment assessments, and disposals.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the management of fixed assets including further developing 5-year capital planning process and reporting.
  • Meet quarterly with facility leadership to review capital spend, timing of upcoming capital items, status updates on existing projects.
  • Provide board-level reporting on quarterly capital expenditures.
  • Manage treasury functions, including cash flow management, banking & investment bank relationships, and liquidity planning.
  • Perform day-to-day financial tasks such as post journal entries; process ACH and wires; maintain bank accounts and deposits; prepare treasury reports, etc.
  • Provide direct accounting support for two organization entities during month-end and year-end close procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and analysis.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for executive leadership and stakeholders.
