We are looking for an Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment to join our dynamic team.

** Full-Time (37.5/week) or Part-Time (20/week) **

** Starting at $15 per hour **

Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Qualifications:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Drivers license required and must be willing to drive the community bus (16 passenger).
• Activities experience with older adults preferred, but not required.
• Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
• Ability to work well with a team as well as the ability to work independently.

Activities Assistant - Life Enrichment Job Summary:

• Assist with the coordination, direction and delivery of wellness and recreation programs. 
• Provide hands-on involvement in programs for the majority of their scheduled time.
• Assist in the supervision, orientation, and planning of volunteers.
• Assist in the evaluation activities within the six dimension; purposeful, emotions, physical, spiritual, social and intellectual.
• Assist in ensuring specialty programs are scheduled.
• Assist with marketing, promoting and communicating materials, helping to ensure professional quality.
• Assist in maintaining community environment (including equipment and supplies).
• Assist in keeping records and inventory of supplies.
• May be required to assist driving the community van to transport residents to and from, off or on campus activities.
