Production Manager (Part -Time)

Job Description:

The Caramel Tree in Rigby, ID is looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team to help us grow. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and production of all of our signature confections, ensuring a positive work culture, and effectively managing our production team.

We're not explicitly seeking someone with experience in candy production or an individual who simply "loves to bake." We are operating within a professional production environment that requires strong team leadership and the ability to address various managerial and operational challenges. Your expertise in solving these complexities will be instrumental in our continued success.

Requirements:

    *Available to work 2-3 days per week, with extended hours/days during peak holiday periods approximately 3-4 times a year.* *Flexible start time between 7-9 am, determined by the manager, until tasks are complete. Most days conclude by 2-3 pm, with the potential to extend to 5-6 pm during holidays.** *14-25 hrs/week on average** *18-35 hrs/week - holiday periods** *Capable of standing for extended periods without discomfort *Comfortable lifting weights ranging from 20-40 lbs with no strain *No reported issues with back, shoulder, arm, wrist, or hand joints
  • Number of production days will ultimately be decided on by the manager evaluating the teams ability and balancing needs/constraints of the business

**Highly dependent on the speed and capability of the manager and team, but very achievable with plenty of room for improvement on these hours
