Responsibilities

As a Field Marketing Manager with Shift Naturals, you'll dive deep into market insights, armed with an innovative events & merchandising approach, and professional expertise. Your mission is to collaborate with event organizers, distributors, and store owners of all sizes, delivering exceptional service that's second to none. As time goes on, you’ll train and manage a team to help fulfill your mission.

Key Areas of Focus:

  • Account Management & Education: Partner with clients(Store/Bar/Restaurant Managers) to understand the market, their needs, what will help sell thru. Educate clients and their staff on product and compliance needs. Scout new business opportunities. Identify and implement new educational initiatives to enhance product knowledge and adoption.
  • Merchandising: Champion the Shift Naturals brand by Develop merchandising strategies and tactics that ensure prime retail positioning in stores and promote sell-thru. Identify areas for opportunities like front of store posters, point of purchase displays, and bar wall art.
  • Event Planning & Execution: Manage in-store events like tastings and out of store events like marathons and music festivals in your area, coordinating with store staff and event staff. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align with the sales strategy/goals and execute relevant field marketing initiatives. Promotional support as needed.
  • Market Intelligence: Serve as a trusted partner to our clients by offering market insights and strategic solutions to drive mutual growth.
  • Relationship Management: You’ll need to manage relationships and effectively communicate with a lot of clients, vendors, and team members.
  • Team Management: Train and manage a team of field marketers and event staff to help with the above.

  • Strategy: Guarantee flawless in-store execution, ensuring Shift Naturals products are always in the right place at the right time.
  • Location: Secure and maintain optimal product placements, both permanent and temporary, to enhance visibility.
  • Availability: Ensure product placements are well-communicated and visible to maximize sales opportunities.

Communication

  • Develop and nurture positive, professional relationships with store personnel, event staff, vendors, and customers.
  • Remove or replace damaged or expired products, and restock items as needed, coordinating with the management team.

Requirements

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Must enjoy working with people and building relationships.
  • Highly organized and efficient.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Must be self-motivated, goal oriented and drive results.

Education and Experience:

  • Have 1 year previous field / event marketing experience or similar.
  •  Have 1 year merchandising experience or internship experience.
  • High School Graduate; Significant college degree progress in a marketing field or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and interest in natural wellness products.
  • Commitment to learning about customer preferences and working collaboratively to meet those needs.

 Requirements:

  • Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to drive for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 30lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be 21 years of age.

Qualifications

  • Must have proficient in Excel and Asana or similar products.
  • Demonstrated analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Adapt at navigating complex challenges and driving positive change.
