The Cake Bake Shop Warehouse Associate interacts with all levels within the organization, customers receiving orders and delivery vendors at the Production Facility. This person should be positive, professional and exude excellent customer service skills at all times. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the execution of all warehouse related tasks, as designated by the Warehouse Manager.

Warehouse Associate Job Responsibilities (this list is not all inclusive) :

• Assist with all warehouse related activities (unloading deliveries, palletizing products and wrapping for safe storage, maintain proper inventory accuracy and controls, general warehouse cleaning, adherence to safety protocols and procedures, etc.)

• Ensure efficient warehouse operations in conjunction with the Warehouse Manager

• Maximize warehouse and shipping productivity through effective communication with the other associates and the Warehouse Manager

• Receive, document and organize shipments as they arrive, notating any items that are getting low on quantities

• Sort, store and organize products in the warehouse as defined by the Warehouse Manager through the planogram provided

• Acts as a delivery driver for both inner company locations (transfers to and from each property) and external customers (ordering whole items)

• Assist with seasonal decor preparation and changeover as needed, providing assistance with organizing off season decor elements in conjunction with the Brand Manager, the Decor Manager and the Warehouse Manager

• Coordinate inter company transfers as outlined in Yellow Dog, providing the proper product, accurate counts and written approvals as necessary

• Communicate any needed repairs or maintenance items that are identified with company owned property/transportation

• Any other daily, weekly or monthly tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager and/or the Executive Team

Qualifications :

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred
• Forklift certified, or the ability to obtain a forklift certification preferred
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal skills
• Clean driving record
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds on a daily basis
• Strong time management skills
• Must be able to pass a background check
