The Burns Pub is looking for a dependable, creative and professional Lead Line Cook to join our team. Our kitchen is small but efficient, our team is dedicated and friendly.
The Burns Pub is a highly rated, well established and unique restaurant and whisky bar that has been serving the Broomfield and surrounding communities for over 12 years. It s even been featured on Food Network.
Requirements:
- 5 years minimum experience as a sous, Line lead or equivalent
- Servsafe Certified
- Monday Available
- Strong communication/teamwork skills
- Attention to detail
- English speaking
- Ability to operate a fast paced kitchen with a level head
- Ability to problem solve
Beneficial:
- Working Spanish knowledge
- A decent knowledge of dishes from the U.K.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain our high standard of quality in a fast paced restaurant
- Assist in implementing chef's unique specials
- Assist chef in keeping operations running smoothly
- Assist chef with prep and receiving deliveries
- Lead evening team and communications with FOH
At The Burns Pub, our Lead Line Cook plays a very important position in our success. Working closely with our Head Chef, you play a pivotal role in our customers dining experience and our positive work environment. We want passionate and skilled candidates that want to be a part of an exceptional team at a very unique and successful family owned and operated establishment. The position starts as an hourly position, but we are looking for someone with the skills, temperament and ambition to become our sous chef with an annual salary.
