Job Description
The Line Cook at The Budlong Hot Chicken accurately and efficiently prepares a variety of hot and cold menu items following specific recipes, guest requests, and food safety standards. The Line Cook preps food items according to the recipe and food safety standards.

Responsibilities
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Follows a written prep sheet to prepare all required items for service
Safely and accurately handles equipment, smallwares, supplies, and tools
Prepares food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cooks and builds menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report, and follow management’s instructions
Clean up station and store food according to food safety standards
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests
