The Budd Group is searching for a Landscape Account Manager to oversee all landscaping operations at a prominent customer site in Hampton, VA. The successful candidate will have experience managing a team of people in commercial landscaping, ensuring quality work and scheduling all landscape operations.

• Requires a pro-active approach to managing all aspects of the job within the limits of authority
• Ability to manage the details of the day-to-day operations
• Customer-centric, maintains excellent internal and external customer relations

Position Overview:

• Manage a team of about 20 landscapers on a sprawling 314 acre campus
• Provides training for new laborers, including safety training of all equipment, accident procedures, and proper maintenance procedures.
• Schedules work and ensures successful completion of Work Order Requests within the allotted time limits.
• Monitors supply and tool inventory levels and completes monthly inventory and make orders to replenish stock
• Schedules and supervises operations meetings.
• Performs inspections of work, and generates work orders for corrective action as needed.
• Ensures that all equipment is maintained properly

Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum of a 2-year degree, or 3 years’ experience in the commercial landscape maintenance field.
• Experience managing a commercial landscape team
• Experienced with building customer relationships and retention

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Requires a valid VA pesticide license.
