You shall be responsible for establishing and implementing objective standards of care and conduct that are to be followed by practitioners of patient care in accordance with all statutory obligations and rights afforded to patients as defined in the New York State Department of Health Regulations, and which are in accordance with all applicable standards, practices, policies and procedure of the Hospital, Joint Commission, and other regulatory agencies or accrediting bodies that govern the operations of the Hospital and shall develop mechanisms to monitor the ongoing compliance with all such standards, practices, policies, procedures and regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES:
You shall perform the duties and shall have the responsibilities that are customarily incumbent upon and performed by a faculty member and oncologist at a teaching hospital, which may include:
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE:
In addition to your patient care activities, you shall provide administrative and supervisory services as requested by the Chief of Hematology & Oncology. You will assist the clinical leadership with the operation of the service, and your administrative and supervisory duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to:
