Job Description:

The Sous Chef will assist in managing and overseeing all administration and culinary operations while maximizing revenues, minimizing expenses and enhancing both internal and external guest relations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Primarily oversee all administration and culinary operations
• Help with preparation and design of all food and beverage menus
• Lead kitchen in absence of Executive Chef
• Assist in all Food and Beverage Operations and other duties as requested by Management and Directors
• Coach, mentor, train and supervise culinary staff in all aspects of their positions, including, but not limited to, hiring, scheduling, performance reviews, attendance tracker, food ordering and inventorying
• Assist in decreasing COS (Cost of Sales) – COL (Cost of Labor) - COOE (Cost Of Other Expenses)
• Adhere to Food department budget requirements
• Train new and current kitchen staff on preparation and plating of dishes
• Personally respond to customer concerns
• Create a friendly, comfortable and exciting environment for all internal & external guests
• Knowledge of Chinese food and Asian food preparation, a plus
• All other duties as assigned

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
