The Bridge Consulting Group, LLC is Hiring a Compliance Specialist Near Durham, NC
The Compliance Specialist will develop,manage and implement processes to ensure the organization's compliance with applicable federal and state HIPAA regulations and guildlines, particulary regaring the organization's access to and use of protected health information(PHI).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Collaborates with plan management, administration,and legal counsel to identify and address privacy policies that require improvement.
Develops and assists with the implementation of new and updated policies and procedures.
Drafts and implements procedures for addressing and resolving complaints regarding the organizations privacy policies and procedures.
Serves as the internal subject matter expert on HIPAA, maintaining current knowledge of HIPAA laws and regulations, and any other applicable federal and state privacy laws and regulations.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $59,055.00 - $65,693.00 per year
