KID’S CONFERENCE COORDINATOR (KCC)

Objective
Contract an individual to develop a team to plan and operate a biblically-based learning
experience for the children of Brethren Church Conference attendees.

Program
In addition to including an element of biblically based teaching, the program could include
craft, play, song, and adventure opportunities. The KCC will develop the finer details of the
program, which the Brethren Conference Coordinator will approve, Ryan Smith. The Brethren
Church can assist with the purchase of program supplies. The program would be held onsite at
the Wyndham Resort and Convention Center.

Team Members
All persons involved in the Kids Conference must provide a clear criminal background check
that is no more than 3 years old or submit to having a check run. Background checks must be
on file with The Brethren Church prior to the start of participation in the Kid’s Conference.

Children
The children allowed to participate in the Kid’s Conference will be potty trained through the 5th
grade (spring of 24). It is anticipated that most of the children will be toddlers through 2nd
grade. Estimates suggest a total participation of between 8 and 20 children.

Commitment
Projected time commitment is as follows:
Monday, July 15 — 2-5pm
Tuesday, July 16 — 8:30-11:30am & 3-5:30pm
Wednesday, July 17 — 8:30-11:30am & 6-8pm
Thursday, July 18 — 8:30-11:30am & 3-5:30pm

Honorarium
$2500 to be implemented at the discretion of the KCC

Other
Lodging will be provided to KCC and volunteers, 2 per room
The Brethren Church will not cover travel and meal expenses
