Job Description

We are currently hiring a Space and Assortment Specialist. This is a remote position with preference that the coworker lives near a major airport for ease of travel.

The Assortment and Space specialist will deliver best-in-class beer and beyond beer assortments and planograms that will delight our retail customers and facilitate the conversion of shoppers to buyers.

This will help us deliver our goal of becoming the indispensable partner that helps our customers win. The right candidate will posses the following attributes : Analytical, Strategic, Proactive, Adaptive and detail oriented.

What You'll Brew :

• Work alongside Category Managers to integrate retailer strategies in developing an optimized assortments into beer and beyond beer shelf schematics
• Drive relationships with wholesaler network to lead reset coordination for all retailers where The Boston Beer Company has been assigned category advisorship / captainship
• Occasional travel based on business needs

What Ingredients You'll Bring :

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years of space / assortment optimization and management with a thorough understanding of the latest tools and technologies
• Customer experience across multiple channels - e.g., large store, small store, and club classes of trade
• Store schematic reset implementation / co-ordination experience
• Channel, shopper, and trade familiarity
• Category, portfolio, and brand familiarity
• Strong Space / Assortment Management discipline knowledge
• Ability to integrate insights from data into assortment and shelving recommendations
• Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skillset
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Retailer space / assortment project experience

Preferred Qualifications :

• 5 years of space / assortment optimization in CPG Industry with DSD or 3-Tier system experience
• Expert knowledge in using Space Management software solutions (JDA Space Planning, CKB, Symphony EYC Apollo, etc) with retail customers
• Full understanding of the retailer category / space / assortment process
• National retailer category / space / assortment project proven success
• Leadership in schematic reset execution
• Channel, shopper, and trade mastery
• Category, portfolio, and brand mastery
• Subject matter expert in Space / Assortment Management discipline

Level : 7

In accordance with pay transparency laws the salary range for this role if hired is $45,900 - $104,000 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.

Certain sales positions are also eligible for car allowance.
