Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Clerk to join our team. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for accurately processing payroll, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate payroll records. The ideal candidate has a strong background in payroll management and is proficient in various payroll software systems.

Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Calculate and enter payroll data, including hours worked, overtime, bonuses, and deductions
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave balances, and other relevant information
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
- Assist with year-end payroll activities including W-2 processing

Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in payroll processing or related field
- Proficient in Quickbooks and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
