The Beverage Works is Hiring a Merchandiser Near Brooklyn, NY
KEYRESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:
- Drive personal vehicle to, from and between accounts with mileage reimbursement provided
- Visit each A and B account on each small format route on a bi monthly schedule
- Conduct a field audit and to complete a “Retail Report”
- Educate key decision makers about Red Bull trade merchandising best practices
(i.e. Strike Zone/QPODS/1.5 rule/POS) - Execute trade merchandising standards in the retail account
- Report findings to direct report daily
- Conduct market trend analyses in collaboration with your direct report to determine training needs/focus
- Provide a timely, accurate, reporting on all competitive merchandising trends and programming
- Position may includeadditional responsibilities and duties assigned from management.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service by communicating comfortably and effectively with all customers.
- Strong organizational, written and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Must be willing to submit a background check and maintain a satisfactory driving record
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card (Brooklyn Employees Only)
- Fluent in English a must
- Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card when requested by management.
- Must be able to work in all climates and environmental conditions.
- Experience in customer service a plus
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Experience driving vans, 4 Bays and box trucks a plus
- Moderate familiarization with field marketing and distribution sales a plus
