The Aspenwood Company, a leader in the senior living industry, has an outstanding opportunity for an Area Director of Resident Care in Spring, TX.

Pay Rate: $80,000/yr.

Area Director of Resident Care provides strategic leadership for resident care in the assigned communities by managing, directing and monitoring subordinate nurses, resident care team and resident medication aides, as applicable by State law, to promote the health and wellness of the resident population. Must desire to work with seniors and implement and maintain a person-centered culture. Abides by and upholds company core values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide clinical care through the direct application of the assisted living and memory care processes; perform and document resident assessments, complete Individualized Service Plans, provide or delegate hands-on clinical care as indicated by the plan of care and evaluate resident outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists and other clinical providers to coordinate care and services for the residents within assigned
  • Perform skill evaluation assessments to assure clinical capability of care team members. Make daily rounds to review performance of resident care
  • Provides superior customer service preserving Resident
  • Investigate and resolve resident and family concerns and complaints in conjunction with other community

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • CollegeDegreeMust be a graduate of an accredited LVN/LPN/RN program.
  • 2-3 years of related experience, preferably in an assisted living or memory care setting. Experience in geriatric nursing, emergency care, firstaid.
  • Mustpossessacurrent,unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LVN/LPN in this Must have current CPR
  • Must maintain valid Continuing Education credits as required by the State. Must have a valid Driver's License
