The ARC of Rensselaer County is looking for an ambitious Junior Accountant to provide support to the Finance Department by managing daily accounting tasks.
Some responsibilities include and are not limited to:
Prepares account reconciliations with focus on accounts receivable; assist Accounting Manager in monthly closing and act as backup to Billing Specialist and AP Assistant.
Responsible for processing and posting all deposits
Perform bank account reconciliations for Rensselaer NYSARC
Performs reconciliation on accounts receivable and assists with the coordination of billing
Maintain vehicles and transportation information for the agency
MaintainFSA/HRA Funding Reports.
Maintain clothing allotment benefit information for the people we support.
Complete HUD work orders, missing receipt forms and tax exempt forms on a timely basis.
Completes special projects on an as needed basis.
Performs general office tasks as necessary.
Education/ Experience- Three years of bookkeeping experience and Associate degree in Accounting.
$20-$21 hrly
