Job Summary:

The Information Systems Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and rectifying issues related to the agency’s comprehensive information systems.

This position reports to the IS Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware/software programs/applications specifically related to the network/operations/communication systems
• Diagnose/troubleshoot/remediate end user issues
• Work closely with the supervisor to communicate IS issues/barriers
• Provide training to staff on how to navigate/utilize IS programs/applications
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent critical thinking, strategic skills, and the ability to work autonomously
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Education / Work Experience / Skills:

• High school graduate, some college degree preferred
• Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft products required
• Must be proficient in the use of electronic equipment, systems, and networks
