Overview:
What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are looking for a highly engaging, compassionate, customer focused individual to join our team as a Campus Coordinator. The heart of this role will be located at the site of the newest addition to The Abbey Resort's family: the Lake Geneva Hospitality Academy (LGHA). The LGHA is nestled in several acres of beautiful, wooded surroundings less than two miles from the resort. The purpose of the LGHA is to foster the growth and development of individuals looking to start or further advance their hospitality career.

The successful candidate for this role is engaging, full of energy, compassionate, and is open to learning and leading by example. Expectations include responding in a professional and courteous manner to all individuals utilizing the services of the LGHA.

The Campus Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of LGHA, including a variety of administrative duties, planning and coordination of space and events at the Academy, as well as special projects. This role works under the direction of campus and resort leaders, and mainly works afternoon to late evening hours Wednesday through Sunday, however week to week schedule can vary based on the needs of the Campus.


Your Role:

  • Greet individuals utilizing campus services and provide information regarding the campus and any applicable processes.
  • Respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate room / space assignments and inspections, campus arrivals and campus departures, as well as, complete and process the related and required paperwork with and for associates and guests.
  • Works with resort rooms team to coordinate campus shuttle trips, pick-ups and drop-offs.
  • Safely and efficiently operates company vehicle for shuttle trips as assigned.
  • Responsible for key inventory/lock management for campus rooms and buildings.
  • Assists leadership with coordination of Campus Orientations and other classes offered at campus.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping to ensure cleanliness of all campus spaces.
  • Responsible for campus communications, informational postings and related items.
  • Plans and oversees biweekly/monthly activities on and off campus for individuals residing at campus.
  • Interact and promote a sense of community and engagement among all individuals utilizing campus.

Your Environment:

Works in all areas of the property, both indoors and outdoors possible in inclement weather. Variety of surfaces.

Qualifications:
What are we looking for?

We are looking for an outgoing and responsible individual to support the day-to-day operations at the Lake Geneva Hospitality Academy (LGHA). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, collaborative, possess excellent time management and follow through skills, understand the confidentiality that comes with working in a campus environment and exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working in customer service in an office environment preferred, and working in a hospitality environment a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, detail oriented and self-starter a must.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) and standard office equipment.
  • Experience with programs such as Canva and social media savvy.
  • Exceptional organization and time-management skills with strong adherence to deadlines.
  • Professional presence; exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual preferred.

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
