Tharp Cabinet Company is Hiring a Regional Sales Representative $60,000 Base + Uncapped Commission $85k OTE Near Edwards, CO

Description

Tharp Custom Cabinetry is family-owned and has been in business for over 50 years. We are the largest custom cabinet manufacturer in Colorado, and we create dream spaces through superior customer experiences. The Regional Sales Representative – Mountains, will exemplify Tharp and Boulder Mill’s brand through positive customer relationships, superior functional designs, and flawless execution while growing sales and profitability. 

During the first year, the base pay is $60K plus commission, with no cap on commission. Compensation with commission is estimated at $85K annually. During the second year (after 12 months) base pay drops to $20K with the same commission package, estimated at about 95k annually. 

Responsibilities:

  • Grow and nurture new and existing accounts on the I70 corridor, Steamboat, and surrounding mountain areas such as but not exclusively Vail, Edwards, Winter Park, and Silverthorne.
  • Generate new sales opportunities by cold calling, networking, and client/associate referrals
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to key departmental stakeholders and executive management regularly.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to customer relationships and project success.
  • Target generation of well-qualified leads to fit Tharp’s strategic market. 
  • Utilize a value selling approach to sales that prioritizes long-term relationship development and growth
  • Maintain accurate and regular updates to the CRM to track lead generation and customer communications
  • Attend and promote Tharp at local industry events to network with other industry professionals 
  • Build Tharp's brand recognition in the mountains by building credibility and excitement around Tharp’s brand name. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Required Skills/Competencies:

  • Have a strong knowledge of computer systems and technology
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively execute in a high-pressure environment.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or related Field Experience.
  • Five years in a management and leadership role with direct reports.
  • Two years of direct work experience in a project management or construction management capacity.
  • Proven experience working independently and in a team environment.
  • Experience managing construction projects relating to finishing trades is a plus.
  • Solid working knowledge of the construction/general contracting sector of business.
  • Building, coaching, and motivating a team.
  • Colorado Drivers license and driving record that meets Tharp’s requirements
