Job Overview:

TFC Inc. is a mid-size, family owned sheet metal fabrication facility located in Maumelle. We have roughly 30 employees across one facility, and we are seeking a skilled part-time Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and cleanliness of our facility. This is a vital role in our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Hours: Monday/Wednesday OR Tuesday Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm (30 minute unpaid lunch, 10 hour shift.)

As of now, we will work with the applicant to decide which 2 days would work best with their schedule, and may consider letting the employee self-determine which days they work on any given week. This could also change due to business circumstances like a customer visit.

Duties:
- Emptying all trash bins around the facility.

- Sweeping and discarding debris and dust around the shop floor.

- Dusting, cleaning, basic organization of work surfaces and machines around facility.

- Cleaning shop floor bathroom.

- Cleaning cobwebs and dust/dirt off walls, machines, or wherever else in facility.

- Assisting with any clean up efforts assigned by management. This may include disposal of metal parts.

- Clean up of exterior of facility. This includes parking lot maintenance (trash and debris, power washing sidewalks), fencerow/some yard maintenance (keeping weeds/plants out of fencerows), cleaning of exterior walls (possibly power washing, cobweb/dust/dirt removal)

- Basic building maintenance like replacing air filters, light bulbs, etc.

- Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

- Forklift skills (for transporting trash bins, scrap metal bins, and whatever else may be required.)

- Heavy lifting (25-50 pounds occasionally throughout the day)

- Drivers License and reliable transportation

- Dependable personality as this role offers a flexible, part time schedule, but you would be expected to fulfill your responsibilities within the scope of that flexibility.

Our facility is an industrial, non-air conditioned building. During the summer, the environment can get hot, though we make every effort to keep it as comfortable as possible.

This job is not eligible for full-time benefits.
