Marketplace and CDF (Customer Direct Fulfillment) Manager

The Marketplace and CDF Sales Manager creates and recommends strategies for marketplace selling and direct-to-consumer projects. Monitoring activities and reporting to departmental leadership. The position oversees marketplace performance metrics, resolves issues, reviews and approves payments working with our marketplace partners and MBS inventory, accounting, and customer service teams. This position reports to the MBS Wholesale Sourcing Services Manager.

Duties:

• Creates and recommends the strategy for Marketplace selling and direct-to-consumer projects

• Monitor and analyze eCommerce market trends and adjust platforms as needed

• Responsible for Amazon product matching errors

• Monitor all Marketplace and CDF channels for errors, alerts,questions, and inquiries and resolve them with a sense of urgency

• Review of invoicing and payment reports to assist accountingin applying payments and resolving discrepancies

• Assist the customer service department with customer complaints and work with them to improve customer experience

• Analyze sales history, pricing, margins, and inventory to recommend product pricing strategies

• Review competitors regularly to stay up to date on the competitive landscape

• Enter CDF Bulk orders upon request, respond with POA, ASN, and Invoice

• Store and maintain files to provide upon auditor requests

• Manage Marketplace and CDF returns

• Work closely with upper management to grow the market share of these business segments

• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Must have a record of excellent attendance and punctuality

• Must be computer literate with strong typing and 10-key skills

• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task while prioritizing assignments

• Come to work with a positive, friendly attitude and have a willingness to learn and accept new challenges

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions/directions

• Ability to work both independently and/or as part of a team while meeting deadlines and looking for ways to improve current processes

• Proactive and resourceful in solving problems, making decisions, and executing goals

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Two years of retail eCommerce management systems experience preferred

• Must have practical knowledge and experience with online marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, and other marketplaces

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel and Access.

• Familiarity with textbooks and warehouse operations is a plus

• Ability to extract sales data, analyze sales history, pricing, margins, inventory, and marketplace sales trends

• A Bachelor’s degree or two years of equivalent experience is preferred

This is a full-time, year-round position reporting to the MBS Wholesale Sourcing Services Manager

Work hours are Monday-Friday from 8 am–5 pm.
