Qualifications required:

-Current Texas RDA license

-Current CPR

-N2O monitoring certification (can get within 30 days of hire if needed)

-Coronal Polishing Certificate (suggested)

This is an opportunity to join the dream team of pediatric dentistry. As a dental assistant you will assist in delivering outstanding care and experiences for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality patient service by providing thorough patient care, effective communication and personal attention.
  • Prepare the treatment rooms, patient records, equipment and necessary instruments for dental procedures
  • Provide chairside assistance to the doctor including but not limited to basic and complex restorative, surgical, endodontic, pediatric, emergency and preventative dental procedures
  • Record accurate and concise patient and treatment information for clinical notes
  • Take dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care prior to and following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
  • Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
  • Monitor inventory and ordering of dental supplies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
