Musso Family Dentistry is Hiring a Registered Dental Assistant Near Garland, TX

We are looking for an experienced Registered Dental Assistant that is friendly, reliable and able to build rapport with patients of all ages. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can deliver outstanding care while displaying a great attitude, self-confidence and a sincere desire to make a positive impact in the lives of our patients.

Our ideal candidate would possess the following characteristics:

  • Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently
  • Able to problem solve and solution driven
  • Passionate about the benefits of excellent dentistry
  • Warm and engaging with our patients and have the ability to build relationships and establish trust
  • An empathetic listener who quickly understands the needs of our discerning patients
  • Must be dependable, reliable and meet attendance requirements.
  • Bilingual is a plus!

Our candidate must be proficient and experienced in the following areas:

  • Minimum 1 year RDA experience
  • Must have a current license for the state of TX
  • Dentrix Software experience
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Taking Digital Radiographs
  • To assist in the performance of quality, caring clinical dentistry.
  • To become well adept at assigned clinical procedures and to aid the Doctor smoothly and unobtrusively, while anticipating Dr’s needs chairside.
  • Adhere to all required OSHA, HIPAA and health regulations.
  • Identify the patient’s needs and any areas of concern prior to the Doctor entering the room.
  • Seat patients on time and prep patient prior to Doctor entering the room including: x-rays, procedure summary, review and sign consent forms, review post-op instructions, take patients blood pressure, update medical history, etc.
  • Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients.

We would also like for our team member to eagerly display the following attributes:

  • Motivated to learn, utilize your skillset and openly participate/share ideas to benefit the Back Office Dept and the practice overall
  • Assist the Back Office team with duties/tasks with enthusiasm and a high level of follow-through
  • Willing to communicate and ask for support or direction as well as receive constructive feedback
  • Be an ambassador for and a promoter of our practice

This immediate-start, full-time opportunity. Wage TBD based upon experience. Our practice is actively involved in team meetings, cross-training and the availability to expand/grow skillsets.
