Texas State University is Hiring a Technology Integration Specialist I (SPS) Near San Marcos, TX
Posting Information
- Must show effective written and oral communication skills
- Basic computer hardware and software knowledge
- Basic audio/visual technology knowledge
- Knowledge of video conferencing applications such as Zoom, Teams, etc
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Experience with supporting audio, visual, and computing resources in an integrated environment
- Audio/Visual system integration experience and knowledge
- Good Knowledge of how to write and read technical documents, including: manuals, CAD drawings, floor plans, etc
- Knowledge of Audio/Video design principles and general construction standards
- Knowledge of Audio/Video control systems and Audio/Video device configuration
- Assist in the physical installation of audio/visual/presentation technologies and computer systems
- Assist in computer/software installation and configuration
- Tier 2 support of audio/visual/computing technologies in learning space environments
- Assist with routine maintenance of audio/visual and computing technologies
- Inventory control duties
- Administrative duties
- Other duties as assigned
- This position (SPS) is a non-permanent, benefits eligible position for one year and is subject to renewal.
- IT Assistance Center will not sponsor or transfer visa sponsorship.
- Work hours beyond 8-5 business hours may be required during peak times.
- Texas State reserves the right to terminate employees who fail to obtain CTS certification within 8 months of hire date
