Position Description
The Physical Therapy Department seeks to develop a pool of candidates for possible temporary/nontenured faculty to teach. Temporary/nontenured faculty are appointed to teach one to four courses per semester. Teaching appointments are based on student demand on a semester-by-semester basis. Eligibility for annual reappointment is contingent upon satisfactory annual performance evaluations during the term period, in addition to continuity of funding and departmental/school/program needs.
Successful candidates will teach at the Round Rock campus.
This posting is for the fall 2024, spring 2025, and summer 2024/2025 semesters.
Please note that this posting is not intended to convey that such a need currently exists.
Applicants applying for a pool faculty position will be available to the departmental search committee for consideration in case the need arises.
Required Qualifications
Specific educational requirements vary by position, but a minimum of a DPT or an MS in Physical Therapy and a valid Physical therapist license in the state of Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience is preferred. Terminal Degree is preferred
