Job Title: Part-Time Phlebotomy Instructor

Location: Fort Worth Campus, Texas School of Phlebotomy

Job Type: Part-Time - Availability to work full time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Part-Time Phlebotomy Instructor to join our team at the Fort Worth campus. This role requires a professional who is not only passionate about teaching but also open to cross-training and assuming additional responsibilities in admissions and sales. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging and effective classroom and lab instruction according to our approved curriculum and actively participate in student recruitment and enrollment.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach phlebotomy courses according to the provided syllabus and curriculum guidelines.
  • Engage students through varied teaching styles to accommodate different learning preferences.
  • Evaluate student performance, provide timely feedback, and administer exams to assess course objectives.
  • Assist at-risk students by providing academic support and personalized program plans.
  • Maintain strict adherence to institutional, accrediting, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to program development initiatives.
  • Engage in additional roles within the institution, such as admissions representative, to support student recruitment and program marketing efforts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in phlebotomy, with clinical or laboratory work required.
  • Current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proven teaching experience in a related field; higher education teaching experience preferred.
  • Availability to work evenings; weekends may also be required.
  • Willingness to undertake additional training and responsibilities in admissions and sales.
