We are seeking a candidate for a new position as a Sales Manager for an established manufacturing and distribution company in Longview, Texas. This position will require a high degree of team leadership, customer management, problem resolution, and working with numerous software programs. This is an “in person” position and some travel will be required. are required to know, understand, and follow team guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures.

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company sales targets.
• Identify and target new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and customer needs.
• Manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and production to ensure alignment of sales effort.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Distribution, or equivalent is preferred
• 5 years of successfully managing a sales team
• Experience with steel, pipe, or distribution industries preferred.
