Role Responsibilities:

• Manage the nursing care of critically ill patients in line with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Carry out physician orders, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
• Provide ventilator and respiratory management for patients.
• Coordinate patient care across multiple disciplines.
• Educate patients and their families.
• Participate in discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Mentor and guide new staff members while adhering to safety precautions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN.
• Licensure: Florida RN license or compact licensure (if holding a compact license, FL RN license is required within 90 days of hire).
• Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS (required), CCRN (preferred).
• Experience: Acute care experience mandatory, prior experience in critical care preferred.
