As the Manager Underwriting Training, you will assemble and provide leadership, guidance and direction to a training and quality team. You will identify training needs for the underwriting division and direct administration of the training. You will report to the VP Corporate Underwriting and enjoy a hybrid-flex work schedule.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
What You'll Do:

• Manage the development and administration of the underwriting division's quality review and training plans, including:
  • Establishment, communication and implementation of the division quality review plan.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to analyze current and future training needs and developing programs to address them.
  • Analyzing business unit process changes, system modifications, regulatory and legislative actions and responding with appropriate training.
  • Determining the best delivery and instructional methods for training based on business need and adult learning principles.
  • Establishing metrics to assess the effectiveness of training.
  • Revising and updating training curricula as needed to continuously improve the value of training for the organization.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to training and quality team including:
  • Recruiting, retaining, coaching and mentoring of employees.
  • Setting and communicating performance expectations, development plans, and providing regular feedback.

What You'll Bring:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience in underwriting, training, education, program development, or equivalent education, training, or experience.
