Texas Labor Corp is looking to fill the following position at its Sunnyvale plant location.
2 nd Shift Plant Manager
Job Duties:
1. Follow the direction of Director of Production to schedule work, instruct, discipline and
train employees assigned.
2. Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to production staff.
3. Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues
impacting production.
4. Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
5. Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of
manufacturing operations.
6. Setting productivity goals for each manufacturing team.
7. Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without
compromising safety or quality.
8. Responsible for work assignments for all departments of production.
9. Must be able to read blueprints, job worksheets, oral instructions and other documents
as required to schedule work of others.
10. Responsible for quality control and documentation of quality of assigned work crews
using established quality control sheets and visual inspection.
11. Responsible for enforcement of company safety rules and procedures for crew
assigned.
12. Responsible for correct time reporting for assigned work crew.
Pay: Wage dependent on exp.
Skills/Qualifications: Requirements:
a. 5 years supervising others in Fabrication/paint/assembly. b. Pertinent computer skills
c. Planning/scheduling d. Bilingual a plus
e. Mechanical aptitude
f. Stable work history
