POSITION SUMMARY:

The successful applicants will have the ability to provide instruction and assessment in a range of areas of program need such as human gross anatomy, neuroanatomy, physiology and/or radiology, orthopedics, etc. Instruction will be assigned as best fits their experience, expertise and needs of the program. Faculty members are expected to adhere to the TCC Faculty Handbook and institutional policies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Teach or assist in instruction of indicated courses as assigned.

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

• Education preparation such as DC, MD, PhD, DPT, ACT with teaching experience in areas related to basic, and/or clinical sciences preferred.

• Three years, or more, of instructional experience preferred.

• Advanced degree and/or qualifications in basic or clinical sciences preferred.

• Participate in Scholarship and Service activities as defined in TCC policy(ies), programmatic and regional accreditors, and Faculty Handbook.

• Willingness to expand his/her own knowledge base to fit the needs of the institution.

JOB CONDITIONS:

Ability to handle the time requirements and pressures related to teaching and student interactions. Ability to handle multiple ongoing tasks and meet multiple deadlines.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to provide physical instruction (teach/lecture) in a classroom setting. Ability to provide physical instruction in laboratory settings, such as palpation, manipulation, orthopedics, physical rehabilitation, where applicable to assigned courses.

WORKPLACE ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

Standard classroom, physical lab, online, and office environment.
