Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payment from clients. Must be profiecient in Quickbooks, Excel and Word.

Duties:

- Process and post customer payments to appropriate accounts

- Prepare and send out invoices to clients

- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances

- Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or issues

- Communicate with clients regarding payment status and negotiate payment arrangements if necessary

- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

- Perform data entry tasks related to accounts receivable

- Assist with month-end closing procedures

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely invoicing

- Managing Lien Process in a timely manner

-Resposible for Mail/Postal

Experience:

- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping principles

- Familiarity with financial concepts and practices

- Proficient in data entry, 10-key typing, and math skills

- Experience using accounting software, such as QuickBooks, is a requirement

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Note: This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field.
