Position Purpose and Objectives
The Recruiter is responsible for the full life cycle of recruiting to meet the needs of our growing organization while providing a candidate experience that reflects Texans brand and culture. The Recruiter works closely with our Hiring Managers to ensure qualified candidates are selected to fill open positions.
The Recruiter will assist in the development of short and long-term recruitment strategies and partner with leadership to recruit experienced and entry-level candidates. They will also review resumes, pre-screen, and interview candidates all while providing feedback to Hiring Managers.
Major Duties and Essential Functions:
1. Partner with hiring managers to gain an understanding of the business needs and respective talent requirements for all openings.
2. Collaborate with hiring managers to develop strategies for recruitment and meeting hiring goals.
3. Review, update, and strategically place job postings (internal, job boards, LinkedIn, etc) as needed.
4. Source, phone screen and coordinate all hiring manager interviews.
5. Develop creative sourcing methods to expand visibility and network for potential candidates in a competitive market and industry.
6. Provide recruiting reporting/analytics on a weekly basis.
7. Update and maintain Applicant Tracking System (Paylocity) with current information to assist in recruiting and placement efforts.
8. Facilitate applicants through each stage of the interview process and communicate with appropriate hiring managers on a regular basis regarding status of applicants.
9. Provide recommendations to make recruiting work flows and processes more efficient and impactful.
10. Comply with all federal and state laws and company policies regarding recruitment and selection processes.
11. Coordinate background checks and pre-employment drug screens on candidates.
12. Partner with HR team to execute new employee onboarding process that reflects our brand and culture.
13. As a valued member of the HR team, you will collaborate closely with team members, especially when workload allows, to ensure seamless operations across all HR functions. This may entail providing support in various areas, including but not limited to culture and employee focused activities
14. Attend outside recruiting efforts like career fairs/ Texans representation at hiring events
15. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Specific knowledge, skills, and abilities required for this position:
Education:
High-school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 2-year corporate recruiting experience required. 5 or more years preferred. Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
