We currently are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Intern to work at our Lakewood, Colorado office. Only candidates who live within commuting distance of Lakewood will be considered.

Your Role:

We are searching for candidates who have the willingness to learn new tasks, assist in administrative and scientific tasks, while positively impacting our Clean Energy initiative. Under general supervision of hiring manager, the incumbent will assist with science/engineering assignments, data entry and management, proofing preparation, and assembly of deliverables, producing excel spreadsheets, project/proposal coordination, and assist with miscellaneous general office-/field-based tasks.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

·Knowledge of data collection and tabulation in preparation of scientific/engineering deliverables.

·Knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite of programs.

·Ability to format and produce reports as well as the ability to manage file systems.

·Attention to detail is required.

·Enthusiasm, resourcefulness, and a positive attitude.

·The successful candidate is able to communicate effectively in both written and verbal format and make evaluated decisions.

·The successful candidate will work as a problem solver, have an interest and ability to work in a collaborative manner, and have the flexibility to adapt to changing situations.

·Ability to manage time well and work on multiple tasks concurrently as part of a larger project team.

·Strong health and safety ethic.

·Self-motivated with ability to function in a hybrid remote/office-based environment.

·Ability to take direction for office and field-based tasks.

Education and Certifications:

·Currently in pursuit, or recently obtained, a BS/BA or MS in relevant scientific/engineering discipline (e.g., environmental science, geology, environmental engineering, chemistry, or other scientific/engineering field).

·Candidate must have successfully completed at least two years of study towards a degree (Juniors, Seniors, and recent grads)

·GPA of 3.1 or higher.

·A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.

·Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $22.00hr.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience and demonstrated work experience in the above role; skills, certifications, and competencies that align to the specified role; geographic location; and education, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
