Job Description:
•Consult with physicians and other healthcare staff to help develop and modify individual resident care plans.
•Delivers and assesses response to ordered therapy per plan of care. Monitors, records, and communicates resident condition as appropriate.
•Implements respiratory care policies and procedures based on resident outcomes and best practices.
•Evaluate patients by performing limited physical examinations and conducting diagnostic tests including those that measure lung capacity tests, acidity and alkalinity of the blood.
•Treat residents by using oxygen, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol medications.
•Perform regular checks on residents and equipment.
•Communicates with resident’s physician regarding changes in condition and/or needs; makes recommendations as appropriate.
Position Qualifications:
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
•Thorough knowledge and skills related to respiratory care field
